My name is Chris, I am the founder of Ground Pounder Sims. I reside in Nottinghamshire in the UK, with my wife and two children. I've had a passion for military aviation, military history, gaming and flight simulation my entire life.

Ground Pounder Sims was formed in May 2020, the culmination of years of learning in the mission editors of both Arma 3 and DCS and as it turns out, a lot of pent up creativity I never realized I had.
My first product, Operation Persian Freedom was released in April 2021, followed a year later by Operation Cerberus North. 2023 saw the launch of both The Kerman Campaign and First In Weasels Over Syria.

The support of the DCS community enabled me to pursue the dream of taking Ground Pounder Sims full time, and in May 2024 I was able to leave my career as a retail store manager after 17 years.

I have big plans for Ground Pounder Sims in the future, thanks for being part of the journey.

To always offer the highest quality product possible, with the player experience front and center at all times.

My campaign design philosophy is to keep pushing the boundaries of what the single player experience can offer. In Ground Pounder Sims campaigns you'll find custom air traffic control, along with purpose built game-play systems for activities such as forward air control/close air support and enhanced AI design for Wild Weasel operations. These innovations contribute to immersive game-play that allows player freedom and a dynamic mission environment.
